What to Expect During Your Visit

Our Bee Experience is designed as an engaging learning journey for individuals, families, and couples. Whether you’re a curious beginner or simply looking for a memorable outing, this tour offers a chance to get up-close with bees in a safe and supportive environment.

• Learn about the Honey Bee and their roles in agriculture

• Taste local honey and honey products

• Put on a suit and go into a honey bee hive in our apiary

Safety First: Everyone receives a fully enclosed beekeeper’s suit, complete with head veil and sting-resistant gloves. Once you’re suited up, keep in mind you won’t be able to touch your face, blow your nose, or fix your hair—so plan ahead!

• Stay Hydrated: Texas days can get hot, especially in a bee suit. Be sure to bring plenty of water for your group, dress for the heat, and drink up before you arrive to prevent dehydration.

• Allergy Precautions: If you’re allergic to bees, please bring your own EpiPen. While we have emergency EpiPens on hand, we encourage guests to come prepared and “bee” smart.

• Waiver Requirement: All participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver prior to the tour. This will be emailed to you once your visit is booked.
